My work is rooted in lived experience — growing up Somali, Black, and Muslim in America, navigating addiction and recovery, and building a movement from the ground up. It’s also shaped by years of leadership and strategy, helping organizations, schools, and communities create spaces that are both effective and culturally responsive.
What sets me apart is the balance of raw honesty and practical strategy. Whether it’s executives, students, or young people in the community, I don’t water it down — I meet people where they are and show them what’s possible beyond fear, stigma, and circumstance.
